30 - The mesmerizing paws

Pidgey and Dean start to grow. And their voice has undergone several changes: first a "Pio Pio", then a verse that resemble a squawking trumpet, and only later would have the distinctive voice of doves.

17 - Princess of the fort

 One of the favorite games of Lily and Vitali is "the fort" where they basically compete for the right to stay under a large inverted pot. Vitali has dug an entrance, but Lily does not grant him NEVER to enter the fort.

Uno dei giochi preferiti di Lily e Vitali è "il fortino", dove in pratica si contendono il diritto di stare sotto un grande vaso rovesciato. Vitali ha scavato un'entrata, ma Lily non gli concede MAI di entrare nel fortino.

Vitali&Lily vs Chloe

Dear diary, today the day was dominated by the cats, the first thing I'm going to see just after breakfast and immediately before eating dinner. But now Lily and Vitali have also got to meet again, after two weeks of separation, their adoptive sister Chloe, the little cat who lives in the house of our friend Annarita.
 Annarita has agreed to bring his kitten for an evening with us in the garden, so that she could play with her friends. You want to know what has happened?What happened is that Chloe seemed possessed, as if she had seen the enemy number one of the cats in person: ears flattened on the head, teeth exposed in an angry breath, eyes wide and a bit 'stretched to leave to see the white, the back arched and the hair all standing on the back as the bony ridge of a stegosaurus.Poor Vitali tried to approach to go play with his adoptive sister, gave her a playful paw shot with claws well sheathed and Chloe in reply tried to gouge out his eyes. Oh, how cute! Oh, that kind!

In your opinion what is the reason for this behavior? Maybe it's the fact that she were in a land that is foreign, or is her personal temperament that is violent? Even Lily was disdainfully rejected with murmurs and threats.So it did not go just fine: probably not we try again, at least not in the same territory, maybe at Annarita's home, however, because it would be cool to have the cats playing together, no?As soon as she walked away from Lily and Vitali, however, Chloe becomes more like a cuddly kitten in need of human contact, mewling, sleepy, to the point of falling asleep over people. Bah... she thinks that she's human and hates cats? Only time will reveal the truth about the tricolor cat.

The story of Lily and Vitali

Lily and Vitali were not simply "adopted". We had never thought about taking a cat (and certainly not two cats!), dogs are our passion and we thought instead of taking a rottweiler.
Obviously, the Rottweiler will come in due time, but ... but first they arrived.
One morning I was going to take my sister to school when I saw a box next to the garbage dump, an open box in full sun. And inside was a kitten, a little dehydrated, now motionless, almost dead, I thought. I could not help but pick it up and take it home.
My father, though he have no experience in kittens, took care of the kitty as he would do with a puppy and she did resume. You know that a newborn kitten (and this could not have more than two or three days, he still had the umbilical cord attached) must feed every two hours?
That holy man that is my father did not sleep all night long in order to help her (did I mention that my father really loves any kind of animals?).
Anyway, here's the cat that we have saved:

Yes, this cat is not red. In fact, this cat will be called Chloe and now belong to a friend of ours, Annarita.
So, what about Lily and Vitali?
Now we get there! So we could not go on like this until the kitten was not weaned, not to sleep at night to feed him every two hours, the kitten also needs the warmth of a mother (she was crying a lot) and its antibodies, transmitted through milk.
So I looked on the internet for help... and found it! Ms. Sgambetterra offered us his help because her beautiful house cat, Neve (it means "Snow", in Italian), had kittens.
Luckily Neve accepted Chloe as her kitten!


So we saved a kitten.
Chloe would come back to us once weaned, but I was very impressed by the kittens with red fur, the same as that of their wonderful father, a ginger cat with a big round head.
So, here they are, after two months! Lily and Vitali are Neve's kittens and this is the first video that I've never done featuring them (uhm, except the one above, in which they were not-clearly-seen and too young).
